A browser can only measure what it sees from your own network — it can't confirm attack traffic, distinguish a DDoS from an unrelated outage or misconfiguration, or see server-side load. Repeated failures and rising response times are consistent with a site under heavy load, but the same pattern can come from a crashed server, an ISP issue on your end, or routine maintenance. For a real answer, check the provider's own status page, ask the site's host or CDN (e.g. Cloudflare, AWS Shield), or use a third-party monitor below.
