As a result, chatbots have recently gained great attention. Many people have praised how novel chat applications can create original and human-like essays. However, a few studies discuss the use of AI chatbots in psychology.<br \/><br \/>Goal of Study:<br \/>We aimed to discuss the use of AI chatbots in the field of Psychology. Also, we will summarize previous studies on ChatGPT.<br \/><br \/>Methods:<br \/>This manuscript discusses how AI can be used in this process. We used ChatGPT to create a brief literature review article to show the progress of the OpenAI ChatGPT AI application. Studies on Pubmed were searched. Overall, we found eight studies using the keyword of \u2018\u2019ChatGPT\u2019\u2019. <br \/><br \/>Results:<br \/>Most studies claim that ChatGPT can write original essays, and it is hard to distinguish ChatGPT from human-like writing. We found no study discussing the impact of ChatGPT on psychology.<br \/><br \/>Conclusion:<br \/>ChatGPT can allow writing essays on various topics and be used in many fields, including psychology, medicine, engineering, philosophy, medical education, literature, and computer sciences.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<center><\/center>\n<p><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> Open Artificial intelligence, ChatGPT, ChatGPT author, academic publishing, psychiatry, psychology, artificial intelligence<\/p>\n<div id=\"selectable\" class=\"suggested-citation\">Uludag, Kadir, The Use of AI-Supported Chatbot in Psychology (January 20, 2023).
