The journal is devoted to the publication of work in the field of neuroscience relevant to Nepal. However, practice of science and dissemination of research should not be limited by geographical boundaries and hence genuine contributions are encouraged.

NJNS abides by the principles of COPE, ICJME, CSE, WAME, DOAJ, OASPA guidelines.
At present Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons (NESON) bears all the expenses of editorial work and publication processes of the Nepalese Journal of Neuroscience (NJNS) and no article processing fees are asked from authors for the submitted articles. The journal does not charge authors for the figures both black and white or colour.
