Abstract

Background: Delusional jealousy is a delusional disorder characterized by persistent beliefs that a partner is unfaithful without evidence. Accurately distinguishing delusional jealousy from normal jealousy is crucial in providing appropriate psychological treatment. In this context, chatbots can help people with delusional jealousy.

Methods: The first version of ChatGPT was used (2023). We have asked several questions to analyze delusional jealousy. In addition, several questions tested the ability of ChatGPT how to distinguish delusional jealousy.

Results: ChatGPT can help individuals understand the differences between normal and delusional jealousy and offer guidance.

Conclusion: ChatGPT can be a valuable resource for individuals seeking information and resources related to delusional jealousy and can help individuals understand the differences between normal and delusional jealousy. However, the understanding of delusional jealousy may differ according to cultural context.
