Abstract
Background: ChatGPT is the most popular chatbot commonly used to create human-like texts, and more and more researchers are interested in using it in the field of psychology.
Goal of Study: This study aims to explore the relationship between schizophrenia (SCZ) and linguistic factors using ChatGPT, a large language model trained on enormous text data.
Methods: We analyzed responses generated by ChatGPT in response to queries related to SCZ and paranoid linguistic factors. In addition, five questions were asked to test the ability of ChatGPT how to distinguish paranoid thoughts.
Results: ChatGPT has successfully distinguished paranoid texts from non-paranoid texts.
Conclusion: Our article suggests that ChatGPT can distinguish paranoid texts from non-paranoid texts. Further research is needed to explore the potential of ChatGPT in understanding the complex relationship between SCZ and linguistic factors.
