Abstract
Background: The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) in Psychology is a psychology test that assesses a student’s general psychology knowledge. ChatGPT can assist students in preparing for the GRE psychology. Thus, we aimed to ask ChatGPT psychology questions related to GRE.
Methods: This article explores the use of ChatGPT in responding to GRE psychology questions. The authors analyze the accuracy of ChatGPT’s responses.
Results: ChatGPT correctly answered ninety percent of the questions. Furthermore, there is a likelihood that ChatGPT can answer these questions because it already knows the answer since ChatGPT provided some of the answers without knowing the exact question. However, ChatGPT could not answer the unclear questions with 100 percent accuracy in this study.
Therefore, future studies claim that ChatGPT can answer exam questions (e.g., law, biology, and mathematics) have to be sure that questions are not publicly available.
Conclusion: The use of ChatGPT in responding to GRE psychology questions can enhance students’ studying experience.
